So sorry! Second Opinions Needed

I'm really hoping to get more photos up, especially, since I went on a trip quite recently and got some fantastic shots. But I really want to know what anyone who reads this thinks I should do. Should I keep posting pictures or should I show some other stuff? Keep in mind I have way more of the former than the latter though I am trying to remedy that. So, opinions?

Does anyone else have this problem?

I recently brought one of my pieces from my Drawing class home, and showed it to my parents. It had a phrase on it that a friend suggested to me that had originally come from a book, and it inspired me. "If I cannot move Heaven, I will raise Hell". There wasn't any sort of intention behind it, it just inspired me. But when I showed it to them, they gave me strange looks. I tried to explain it to them, but it became like the "oh, that's nice honey" thing and we stopped talking about it. It was just a phrase. It inspired me. I'm not deeply tortured on the inside or anything, it was just art. Does anyone else have a problem like this when
